- Mix 1/2 cup flour, brown sugar, and cinnamon in a medium bowl; stagger properly. Cut in 1/4 cup butter with a pastry blender except topping mixture is crumbly. Conceal and kick back. It’ll be your topping.
- Mix 1/3 cup sugar, tapioca, and nutmeg in a tall heavy saucepan; stagger properly. Stride in peaches and lemon juice. Made with eight medium sized peaches ~ I substituted two tablespoons flour for the immediate cooking tapioca. My peaches had been no longer very flavorful and I judge they would admire tasted sweeter if I had lowered the lemon juice by half. Tagged for PRMR July/August 2013 (with extension due July twentieth).
