Curried beef and couscous

  • 1 1/4 cup (310ml) water
  • 1 1/2 cup (300g)couscous
  • 600 gram beef recognize fillet steaks, sliced finely
  • 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
  • 2 clove garlic,overwhelmed
  • 3 cardamom pods, overwhelmed
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1 tablespoon vindaloo curry paste
  • 2 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 medium_piece (300g) brown onions, sliced
  • 2 small_piece (260g) tomatoes, chopped
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) yogurt
  • 1 beef stock cube
  • 1/3 cup (80ml) water, additional
  • 1 tablespoon fresh coriander leaves, chopped

Curried beef and couscous

    Elevate the water to a boil in saucepan, add couscous, quilt, stand 5 minutes or till water is entirely absorbed.

    Combine beef with ginger, garlic, cardamom, cumin and paste in bowl. Warmth oil in immense saucepan, cook dinner beef combination, in batches, till tender. Take from pan.

    Add onion to identical pan, cook dinner, stirring, till still. Return beef to pan with couscous, tomato, yogurt, crumbled stock cube and additional water, whisk over heat till hot.
