- 1 cup canned cream of coconut (corresponding to Coco Lopez)
- 4 cups sweetened flaked coconut
- 2 3/4 cups all-cause flour
- 1 cup unsalted butter , room temperature
- cream cheese frosting (Gaze recipe I posted, Cream Cheese Frosting )
- 4 substantial eggs , separated
- 1 3/4 cups sugar
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
