Substances:

  • garlic salt, to taste
  • pepper
  • 6 red potatoes, peeled and chopped into chunk-dimension pieces
  • 3-4 carrots , peeled and sliced diagonally
  • 2 celery ribs , sliced
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons dried parsley
  • 4 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 2 tablespoons dried basil
  • 1/2 gigantic onion , cubed
  • 3 cups pork consomme or pork broth
  • 3 lbs stew meat, paunchy trimmed and gash into chunk-dimension pieces
  • 5-6 mushrooms , sliced
  • 3 cups red Burgundy wine
  • 1 tablespoon pork sinful or bouillon
  • 5-6 garlic cloves
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
