In the Netherlands, they’re known as ‘Bakbanan’ – baking bananas. In Nigeria, we name them Plantains, cousin to the banana! Now we accept as true with them in a diversity of suggestions, one amongst the most novel being deep fried, known as Dodo (and no….no relation to the chicken by the identical name!). It is a in style accompainment to Jollof Rice, is eaten on its private with eggs, tomato sauce or tomato-sauced blackeyed beans. We fancy it —Kitchen Butterfly

ripe (yellow – brown) plantain, peeled
Directions
- Build oil in a pan and heat on medium

While oil is heating, slice your plantain – on the diagonal, in rounds or diced. Salt while you love
