Ingredients:
- 1 tiny onion, thinly sliced
- 3 tbsps butter
- 3/4 lb ground beef or leftover roast beef, chicken or turkey (cooked)
- 1/2 cup leftover cooked greens or frozen combined greens
- 1 can (10 1/2 oz) beef gravy
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp pepper
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup sifted all aim flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
Instructions:
- Sauté onion in 1 tbsp of butter in a tiny skillet till delicate.
- Add cooked beef (or chicken or turkey).
- Add greens.
- Mix gravy and water in a 2-cup measure. Drag 1/4 cup of gravy combination into meat-vegetable combination. Mix nicely. Add salt and pepper.
- Home oven to (sizzling) 425 degrees F.
- Soften remaining 2 tbsps butter in a 10-stride quiche dish or pie assign in oven till the butter bubbles and the pie plate is amazingly sizzling.
- Within the period in-between, beat eggs in medium-sized bowl. Add milk, beat till nicely blended. Add flour and salt, beat till tender. Pour into the particularly warmth quiche dish or pie plate. Unfold meat-vegetable filling evenly over the batter in the direction of the plate up to inner 1 stride of of the edge.
- Bake for half-hour or till brown and puffy. Heat remaining gravy to abet with the pudding.
