- 6 tablespoons shortening (use Crisco butter flavor shortening)
- 2 shipshape potatoes , scrubbed, unpeeled, and gash into 1 1/2 mosey objects
- 1 medium onion , chopped
- 1/4 cup snipped fresh herb (you might well per chance per chance use chives, thyme, story or whatever else you resolve,-or- 1 teaspoon dry herbs)
