Ingredients: 1 1/2 lb or .6 kgs of stewing beef cut into 1 in cubes; 4 cup beef stock; 2 cup water; 1/3 cup all-purpose flour; 1/2 cup red wine; 1 medium yellow onion – cut into thick slices; 4 x cloves of garlic – crushed or chopped fine; 2 stalks celery – cut into 2 in chunks; 4 x carrots – cut into 1 in chunks; 2 medium white potatoes – cut into 1 in chunks; 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce; 1/2 cup tomato paste; 1/2 tsp dried oregano; 2 springs fresh rosemary; 3 springs fresh thyme; 1/4 cup finely chopped cilantro; sea salt; fresh ground pepper; 4 tbsp olive oil; 2 tbsp butter; 2 cup long grain rice; 1 3/4 cup water
