Ingredients:
- 3 1/2 tablespoons unsalted butter or unsalted margarine , divided
- 3/4 cup shallot (3 to 4 shallots)
- 1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons coarsely new ground shaded pepper
- 6 filet mignon, decrease 1-1/4-chase thick
- 1 cup canned crimson meat broth
- chopped parsley , garnish (now not compulsory)
- 1/2 cup handsome cognac or brandy
- kosher salt
