    cup bitter cream

    teaspoons cinnamon

    teaspoon ground cloves

  • 1

    teaspoon lemon peel

  • 1

    teaspoon orange peel

    cups flour

  • 12

    cup raisins

  • 3

    teaspoons baking powder

  • 12

    cup confectioners’ sugar


  • Preheat oven to 350*.
  • Cream butter and sugar collectively for five minutes.
  • Add eggs, milk, bitter cream, cloves, fruit peels, 1 tsp of cinnamon and 1/2 flour.
  • In separate bowl, combine raisins baking powder and final flour.
  • Mix 2 combinations collectively.
  • Pour into greased loaf pan.
  • Bake 40 minutes.
  • Mix confectioners sugar with final cinnamon,grime top of cake and support.
