  • Cake:
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 2 cups straightforward flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ¾ cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup caster sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp instantaneous espresso coffee, dissolved in 3 tbsp warmth water
  • 1 cup fresh milk
  • 1 ½ cups pecans, chopped
  • Topping:
  • ½ cup straightforward flour
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ½ cup pecans, coarsely floor
  • Powder sugar for dusting


  1. Preheat oven to 340F and grease a 22cm cake pan.
  2. Sift together the baking powder, flour and salt. Disclose apart.
  3. Cream butter and sugar till light and fluffy. Add eggs and instantaneous coffee. Alternately beat within the sifted substances and milk. Add Pecans, stride and pour within the pan.
