Beef and Pepper Stew
Substances:
- * 2 pound stewing pork,
- * 1 teaspoon salt
- * 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground sad pepper
- * 1/4 cup all motive flour
- * 2 tablespoon oil
- * 1 tablespoon butter
- * 2 large crimson bell pepper, seeded and
- * 2 large yellow bell pepper, seeded and
- * 1 large inexperienced bell pepper, seeded and
- * 1 large potato, (no longer main)
- * 1 large yellow onion,
- * 3 clove garlic, minced
- * 5 cup pork broth
- * 1/2 cup dry crimson wine
- * 1/3 cup tomato paste
- * 1 teaspoon fresh thyme, chopped
- * 1 teaspoon candy paprika powder
- * 1 teaspoon beaten complete peppercorn
- * 1 bay leaf
Instructions:
- Sprinkle the cubes of pork with the salt, pepper and flour, toss briefly to thoroughly coat the pork.
- Heat the oil and butter in a Dutch oven over medium-excessive heat. Once hot, add the pork, a few cubes at a time in assert to no longer overcrowd. Brown the pork on both side and transfer to a plate.
- Add the bell peppers, onions and garlic to the Dutch oven and put collectively dinner for 5 minutes till softened, scraping up the browned bits from the bottom of the pan. Add the crimson wine and bring to a snappy boil for 2 minutes.
- Return the pork to the Dutch oven with the last ingredients. Suppose the stew to a boil, slash the heat to low and simmer, lined for 90 minutes till the pork is fork delicate.
