S’mores Cake
Plan:
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 4 oz semisweet chocolate, finely chopped
- Pinch of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 8 entire graham crackers, crushed
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- Pinch of salt
- Vegetable oil, for the spatula
- 1 16-ounce container marshmallow cream
- Total Chocolate Cake, baked and cooled, recipe follows
- Cooking spray
- 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder (pure or Dutch route of)
- 2 1/2 cups all-motive flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 natty eggs, at room temperature
- 3/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup bitter cream
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
