Inspired by demise road meals of Turkey. Chickpeas over rice is bought from -once ubiquitous- cellular meals carts. Nonetheless the true is done with white Jasmine rice, I believe to stop it with brown rice. High quality and cheap for a temporary lunch. It is so classic to love it with primitive Turkish yogurt drink-ayran.

Components

Brown rice (microwavable/easy cook dinner)
1 tablespoon
Olive oil

Medium onion, chopped

Can Chickpeas
1 pinch
Crushed purple pepper
Directions
- Cook rice in accordance with equipment instructions.
- In the meantime, saute the onion with olive oil till completely cooked. Add chickpeas and fade. Cook together for 2-3 minutes till chickpeas expend within the aroma of onions.
- In a bowl, place aside chickpeas on the backside and the rice on high. Flip the bowl over onto a plate and sprinkle purple pepper.
- Support with ayran.
